This database contains over 100,000 Master’s & Doctoral dissertations since 1964. Through retrieving the author, title, major, keywords or superviser, on-campus network users can view the abstract and the first 16 pages of each dissertation. Full- text online browsing is also available. Other users can retrieve and view the basic information such as the abstract by anonymous login.
The paper dissertations are collected in the reading rooms of every library. Dissertations from arts & sciences division since 2002 are mainly collected in the reading area B3 of the General Library. Electronic reading rooms of the Engineering Branch Library (second floor) store mainly dissertations from engineering division since 1998. Periodical rooms (third floor) of Information Science Library mainly hold dissertations from information technology division since 1986. Dissertations from medical division since 1999 are collected in the compact book storage area and the lending and reading area of teaching reference books in the Medical Branch Library.
