The interlibrary loan and document delivery services enable access to the resources that are currently not held in Wuhan University libraries collections for all faculties, staff members, and students. The library also provides the collections of Wuhan University libraries to outside readers under the request of other readers.

The service contents are:

Providing printed or electronic copies of documents that are not collected in Wuhan University libraries, such as journal articles, conference papers, dissertations or reports;

Providing access to the book collections of some domestic universities, the National Library of China and Shanghai Library as well as books in foreign languages from the CASHL member libraries;

Providing document delivery of original texts in all kinds, interlibrary loan of Chinese books and parts of books in foreign languages collected by the Wuhan University libraries, except the reference books, original foreign journals, original foreign books, newspapers, maps, disks, book series, etc.

Readers from Wuhan University can log in the interlibrary loan system to submit the request. The outside readers can submit the request from their local library or via e-mail. The requested resources will be sent directly by e-mail or delivered to the local library.

The use of documents delivered by Wuhan University libraries should be for personal study or research, and is subject to the corresponding copyright regulations and the copyright law.
